7. Contact Resistance.
Under condition turn-off, contact resistance of product should be ≤50mΩ.
8. Insulation resistance: ≥100MΩ.
9. Dielectric strength:
Apply below sine wave experimental voltage to Thermostat with 50Hz, last for 1S, no break or flash-over.
Under the condition turn-off, between the two cables: 500V.
Under the condition turn-off, between the cable and insulating surface of case: 1500V.
10. Humidity test
Put products into thermostat cabinet which temperature is 25℃, relative humidity is 95% for 10 hours, can meet the requirement of item 8 and 9, no abnormal change on appearance.
11. Heat cycling
Put products into thermostat cabinet which temperature is -20℃ and +90℃separately every 2 hours, after 10 cycles, can meet the requirement of item 8 and 9, no abnormal change on appearance.
12. Heat resistance.
Put products into thermostat cabinet which temperature is 140℃ for 10 hours, can meet the requirement of item 8 and 9, no abnormal change on appearance.
13. Low temperature resistance
Put products into thermostat cabinet which temperature is -20℃ for 10 hours, still can meet the requirement of item 8 and 9, no abnormal change on appearance.
After that, the difference of the action temperature to the original temperature should be less than 5℃.
14. Durability
Under normal temperature, after 2000 trials under rated load condition: 50Hz,AC,200V,COS∮=0.7, the difference of action temperature to the original should be within ±5℃, no welding fusion happen on contacts. Keep 5000 trials,thermostats can still work.
15. Anti-vibration effect.
After fixed frequency test under 50Hz, 0.35mm, last-for-90s, the operating temperature can meet the item 6.
16. Drop test
Drop products freely from the height of 1200mm on cement ground 3 times, no abnormal change on appearance.
The difference of action temperature to the original is still kept within 5℃.
17. Cable tensile strength:
Applying ≥30N axial static tension for 5S, no break, loose, and fall-off.
18. Markings:
Remark:Cable length 52mm, could be customized.
19. Attentions for use:
1) Temperature test:
Put product into thermostat cabinet which tolerance is ±1℃. Use thermocouple or thermometer, need to put the tools on or try best to get close to products. Try from 10℃ which is lower than rated operating temperature. Rate of temperature change could not be beyond 0.5℃/min, and testing current should be less than 1A.
2) Operating environment:
Could not use plastic thermostat under ambient temperature more than 130℃ for long time, to avoid transformation of plastic case and make thermostat no function.
Could not use in strong acid, strong base and other highly corrosive environment for long time.
3) Installation and connection:
Thermostat need to be installed in the temperature rising trigger spot of protected object. The sensing cap need to be closed contacted with or faced directly to the protected area.
During the Thermostat installation, to avoid case transformation or damaged, need to pay attentions as below,
A. Do not use sharp tool to press the Thermostat
B. Do not use heavyweight to press the Thermostat
When arc welding process is adopted for connection, welding current shall not pass through Thermostat, otherwise, excessive current will directly pass through the contact of the Thermostat and cause damage.
4) Storage:
Products and package cases shall not be affected by rain or snow, crushed or damaged during transportation and storage. The relative humidity of air shall not exceed 90%.
